Stateprize Design 2011 – Finalist Industrial Design Award
This Saturday was especially nice, because I have heard that I’m one of the finalists in the category 2011 consumer goods (industrial design) with my polychrome hybrid jacket. The jacket was chosen among the 6 best out of 180 applicants. The industrial design award ceremony will be on 28/09/2011 in Vienna. Let’s see what awaits me.

Three State prizes in the categories will be awarded
- Product design (industrial design)
- Consumer goods, product design (industrial design)
- Capital goods and spatial design
In addition to the special Design Concepts – provided by impulse, the creative economic funding program of the austria wirtschaftsservice (aws) in order to evolve – highly innovative design concepts (not yet implemented Concepts | Prototypes | unpublished projects) honored with high market relevance and potential for implementation.
Products and projects, developing not older than two years can be submitted. Also cooperation between Austrian and international designers and or active designers and companies from abroad are allowed in Austria.

I am able with the win of a ideacompetition and pricemoney supported by the Bundesministerium für Wirtschaft in Austria to start with a experimental development and bring new impulses to the outdoor world. The development will take one year and hopefully I am able to present my product on the tradeshow Outdoor Friedrichshaven 2011.“
