Workingday with Heli

To upgrade the Glungezer Hütte and our Textile-Laboratory we had to transport the required material with a heli this year. Watch the short video, how we work under sunshine in the tyrolean alps.

Sun radiation to our jackets

In our alpine laboratory polychromelab 2610 on the Glungezer among other things we do research on which effect extreme sun radiation has on textiles. A few impressions of our work.

Fast Donna Running Jacket Test

Running Jacket Test under Alpine Conditions

It’s hard to believe, but it’s only July and the begin of summer in Tyrol. So we’d like to share our little piece of evidence of this Alaska-like weather with you. Here’s a video of a running jacket test while snow is falling and ground is freezing.

Obviously we can’t wait for sunshine either, but it were great conditions for testing our new Fast Donna Running Jacket for women under real alpine conditions. Conclusion: Breathability worked pretty good, warming at its best. See full details on this sports jacket here.

Alta Quota Bonita Skiing-jacket

Hi

I’ve bought the jacket spontaneously in January 2014, after I’ve seen a film on ZDF about this reversible jacket. The Alta Quota is really great. I’ve worn the jacket in the end of January /beginning of Febuary in Whistler, Canada. This way the heli-skiing made quite more fun.

Cheers, Bonita from Whistler

Heimplanet and polychromelab 2610

Tents by Heimplanet tested at the alpine lab

The cooperation between polychromelab und Heimplanet has succeeded.
Because of the extreme weather conditions at the polychromelab 2610 at the Glungezer in Tyrol the tents by Heimplanet had to stand up to very much.

Polychromelab is testing Outdoor tents by Heimplanet from Michele Stinco

It is a fact that every other tent would been broken because of the severe wind.

Tents by Heimplanet don’t use tent poles, which couldn’t stand up to wind paces at 270km/h. Using special compartments filled with air the tent by heimplanet has survived one of the heaviest storms imaginable.

Scientifically proven at polychromelab 2610.
